How far are you from Denver International Airport and how should I get there?

We are an easy drive via I-70, exit 232 and over Berthoud Pass via Highway 40 to the property. It’s about 1.5-2 hours from the airport. Although their are shuttle services from the airport, we highly recommend that you rent a vehicle and drive…although the free shuttle will get you from the cabin to town and the resort, you will have a hard time getting to Snow Mountain Ranch, Pole Creek, Grand Lake etc. without a vehicle.
There are also a couple of local car rental agencies in town if you arrive by train or bus. 
The cabin itself is right off a main road that is always very well plowed. Our driveway is also plowed regularly (although keep in mind that if it is full of cars and a large snowstorm arrives during your stay our plow driver won’t be able to plow).
While Berthoud Pass can be less than ideal in the middle of a major snowstorm that is rare and it is a very well maintained road with very wide shoulders, lots of passing lanes, etc.

Can I take the train?

Winter Park is actually the only ski resort served by train in the US! Arriving by train in kind of like a trim to Zermatt in Switzerland! It is possible to take the light rail train from the airport to Union Station in Denver and then take the train from Denver to Winter Park. This would likely require an overnight stay in Denver which could be a fun add-on to your trip. While not the fastest way to Winter Park it is the most scenic route! We recommend reserving a car rental in Fraser if you choose this adventure.

How much parking is available? Can I park an RV?

The driveway is quite large and with care could hold ten vehicles. A small (30′ or less) motorhome would fit, but not a large class A rig. We do not have any hookups for RV sewer or power. 
Parking on the street is never allowed.
Please do not block access to the dumpster; if you miss the trash pickup because the dumpster was blocked you’ll need to haul your trash away.,

Can I host a wedding or other event?

We do not allow any events that include attendees in addition to the (maximum of 36) guests that are staying at the property.

Do you have Wifi? Cable? Streaming?

Yes, we have very good Internet service (around 100 MBS) with Wifi throughout  the property. 
All TVs have Roku or Amazon so you are free to sign into your own streaming accounts.  We do have one DVD player.
We do have cable TV including ESPN on the main great room TV.

Is the kitchen well stocked?

Yes, we have two kitchens and they are well equipped. We have plenty of white dishes and glass for service to 36 people.

There is a large selections of pots, pans and baking ware. We do have a kitchen aide mixer, hand mixer, toaster oven, a total of three ovens, two microwaves.

We have plenty of serving bowls, utensils, spatulas, etc. 

Do you have a grill?

Yes, we have a gas grill connected to natural gas. Please be sure and turn the gas valve off when finished and please leave the grill clean for the next guest (our cleaners do not clean the grill).
